CARDBOARD AND PAPER

WHAT are CARDBOARD AND PAPER?

Cardboard and paper are some of the most common waste materials produced in offices, restaurants, and numerous other commercial businesses.

Your delivery will be in packaged cardboard boxes; Books, magazines, and promotion categories from your local grocery store will be made by paper.

CARDBOARD:

Cardboard is a hard material made up of paper and it is used for manufacturing boxes, and for some other packaging.

PAPER:

Paper is the sheet that is usually used for writing. It is made up of cellulose and not water absorbent. Generally used for writing material and printings.

CAN YCA RECYCLING ACCEPT BOTH CARDBOARD AND PAPER FOR RECYCLING?

Yes.

The process of cardboard recycling is easy and inexpensive compared to plastics recycling. However, there are still conditions you have to meet before you dispose of them for recycling.

2 - Laminated paper/cardboard

Laminate cardboard with plastic layers and wax cardboard boxes were made to be suitable for food contact and to eliminate allergens naturally present in cardboard.

Both materials should be avoided and should not be mixed together with clean cardboard and paper.
